This year BAAF and its members are encouraging people to express an interest in adoption under the banner - "Can you make it happen?".
Throughout the UK
Many local councils and other adoption agencies are holding events during the week giving people the opportunity to
find out more about adoption. Going along to one of these is one of the very best ways to find out more. Usually you can pick up a few leaflets, have a chat with staff and people who have adopted, and more often than not you will be offered a cup of tea too!
Been thinking about adopting occasionally?
So often people think about adopting for quite a while before they start to gather information about it. Why not take advantage of this
week? If you dont know where an event is being held locally why not give your local councils social services a ring. Even if you can't get to one of them we are sure they will be more than happy to put some leaflets in the post to you.
